Staircases we fabricate
- Straight and dog-leg stairs with landings, for offices, warehouses, and mezzanines.
- External escape stairs in galvanised steel for buildings that need an extra exit route.
- Feature stairs with folded plate treads, mono-stringers, or cantilevered treads.
- Spiral and helical staircases where space is tight or the design calls for a statement.
- Ship ladders and access stairs for roofs, plant rooms, and tank platforms.
- Handrails, balustrades, and guardrails in mild steel, galvanised steel, or with glass and timber infills.
Built for the site, and the code
A staircase has to fit the exact floor-to-floor height and opening on site, so we measure before we detail. Riser and going dimensions, headroom, handrail height, and guarding are set out to meet the Dubai Building Code and, for escape stairs, the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code. Your consultant confirms these requirements for the building.
Finishes
Inside, stairs are usually primed and painted, or powder coated for a clean architectural finish. Outdoors, we recommend hot-dip galvanizing, with paint over it where colour matters, because Dubai’s coastal climate is hard on bare steel.
