Looking for warehouse construction in Dubai near you? DPSC fabricates and erects steel warehouses, sheds, and industrial buildings from our workshop in Al Quoz. We build new hot-rolled steel frames, extend and refurbish existing units, and add the mezzanines, platforms, and racks that make a warehouse work.
Warehouse work we deliver
- New steel warehouses: hot-rolled portal frames with purlins, girts, bracing, roof and wall sheeting, and ridge ventilators.
- Warehouse refurbishment: strip-out, repairs to corroded members, new partitions and openings, and upgrades for a new tenant.
- Extensions: extra bays, lean-to structures, loading canopies, and side annexes tied into the existing frame.
- Inside the warehouse: mezzanine floors, office mezzanines, heavy-duty racks, staircases, and equipment platforms.
- Roofing: sheet fixing, ridge ventilators, skylights, and PU foam waterproofing.
Hot-rolled steel or pre-engineered?
There are two common ways to build a steel warehouse in the UAE. Pre-engineered buildings (PEB) use tapered, built-up members designed by a PEB supplier. They suit large, standard sheds. Hot-rolled steel buildings use standard rolled sections such as IPE, HEA, and UB/UC. They are easier to modify later, suit irregular plots and heavy loads, and are well suited to local fabrication. DPSC specialises in hot-rolled steel structures, and we can also work alongside a PEB package on extensions, mezzanines, and secondary steel.
The process
- Brief and site visit. Plot size, clear height, crane or racking loads, doors, and the authority the plot falls under.
- Design and approvals. Structural design by a registered consultant and drawings for the building permit. In most of Dubai that means Dubai Municipality. Plots in Jebel Ali and JAFZA go through Trakhees, and some free zones have their own authority.
- Shop drawings and fabrication. Members are detailed, fabricated, and protected in our Al Quoz workshop.
- Erection. Columns, rafters, bracing, purlins, and sheeting are erected by our own crew, with lifting plans and a safety in charge on site.
- Handover. Inspection records and a structure ready for MEP and fit-out.

What affects the cost of a steel warehouse
The main drivers are the span and clear height, the total tonnage of steel, the roof and wall cladding specification, crane or mezzanine loads, foundations, and site access. Read our guide to warehouse construction in Dubai for the full picture, then send us the plot details for a firm price.
